Terms and Conditions for Subscriptions

What you will receive

Depending on your subscription package, you will receive:

Weekly: One A5 (UK) or equivalent (USA) art print per calendar week, printed on 350gsm cardstock with silk coating, consisting of a print on the front and information from Art by Card on the reverse. Your order will be enclosed in an environmentally friendly envelope to protect it.

Monthly: One A5 (UK) or equivalent (USA) art print per calendar month, printed on 350gsm cardstock with silk coating, consisting of a print on the front and information from Art by Card on the reverse. Your order will be enclosed in an environmentally friendly envelope to protect it.

When you will receive it

We arrange postage every Thursday, and delivery usually takes between 3 and 5 working days, meaning you should receive your card the following week.

If you have just started a subscription and will miss your first card, we will arrange for a one-off welcome card to be sent to you, or offer a partial refund on the cost of your first month.

In the event we are ever unable to honour a delivery commitment, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund for that week/month's subscription.

Payments

The cost of our subscription services are as follows:

Weekly: Approximately £2.07 per week, billed at a sum of £8.99 per calendar month to cover the cost of all cards dispatched that month. Payment is taken in advance, meaning each payment is followed by between four and five prints (depending on the number of weeks in the month).

Monthly: £4.99 per calendar month. Payment is taken in advance, meaning each payment is followed by one print.

The sum of £8.99 is fixed and includes all consumer costs, including posting and any relevant sales tax.

Your subscription status is checked before every delivery.

Payments can be made to us via the GoCardless payment and subscription management system.

Managing your subscription

You can manage your subscription at any time via GoCardless' subscription. Cancellations are governed by our refund policy.

Cancellations of our subscription service

If you have subscribed to Art by Card's weekly delivery service, then you are entitled to cancel your subscription at any time. Your cancellation will automatically take effect at your next renewal date. All you need to do to cancel your subscription is manage your settings in your Gocardless account, or write to cancel@artbycard.co.uk.

In the event that your cancellation does not process in time, you will be given a refund, even if we accidentally send something to you after the expiration date.

If you change your mind within 14 days of your first subscription payment, you might be entitled to a pro rata refund.

Refunds from our print shop

To request a refund for an order from our print shop, please email contact@artbycard.co.uk with an explanation of why you are unhappy with your order and photographic evidence in the case of claims that the order was damaged or not what you expected from our website. We reserve the right to request you return the print.

Because individual prints are made to order, we regret that we cannot offer you a refund if you are simply dissatisfied with your print or change your mind.
